Dard phir jaaga,purana zakhm phir taaza hua
fasl e gul kitnay qareeb aaii hai,andaza hua

Subha yuun nikli,sanwar kay jis terha koi dulhan
shabnam aawaiza hui,rang e shafaq ghaza hua

Haath meray bhool bethay dastaken dainay ka fun
band mujh par jab say us kay ghar ka darqaza hua

Rail ki seeti men kesay hijr ki tamheed thi
us ko rukhsat kar kay ghar loatay to andaza hua
